If I have a crossover already installed will I need to remove it when I install this new head unit?

Get rid of your crossover. Most likely the one in the Kenwwod is much better than the DLH one you have. Also you will have less components in your system which means less wiring and less noise.

Also, your amps may have x-overs in them too. The less components you have, the better.

Ok, thx for the advise. One other question I only have 1 amp for the front and rear speakers and the head unit has front and rear preout, so do I use a 4/2 rca wire and just plug that into the amp? I guess the only thing I loose is fading. I can use the amp gain to do that right?

Well depends if your amp is four channel or two. For a two channel amp, just run the front outputs to the input of your amp. For four channels, it's obvious.
