Default What head unit plays DVD's but doesnt have a screen?

I just ordered my farenheitt screen, and am wondering if there is a headunit that plays dvd's that I can link to the screen but doesnt cost very much. I dont want anything fancy, I want to keep the price as low as possible. TIA for any help!

well, how cheap? You can get the no name brands on ebay under $100 shipped

but of system like that.

Best/cheapest name brand you can probably get is the JVC

I was looking to stay under $200 Shipped that JVC KD-DV5100 looks pretty good. On that auction the guy wants $35 shipping! HAHA! I found one shipped on price grabber for $198, not bad. Is there any others in the $200 dollar range that I should take a look at? Also I am not brave enough to go no-name brands.

If you decide you want something a little better check out the Alpine DVA 9860. I love mine.

I am looking at that exact head for my G. How does it do with burned DVD's. I like the idea of having a huge music collection on a few DVD's. Is navigating the filesystem on the DVD smooth and simple? Have you used/tried it with burned DVD's encoded with MP3's and what about Dual Layer discs?

Thank you!

I used burned dvd's in it all the time. no problems. Navigating the unit is sooooo simple too. You will not be disapointed with this unit.

Do most of these DVD units have a menu on the LCD when playing music? Any graphics like Windows media player?

I noticed most of them seem pretty simple looking with very small screens on them, so when i play mp3's the navigation would be impossible if it doesnt show up on the LCD as well.
