Default Best setup with computer?

I was thinking the minimum I would need on my 03 track base radio would be the AUXNISS adapter, a touchscreen monitor in the cubby, and a laptop.

This would allow me to play mp3 files, watch dvds, get a GPS software program and antenna, and do it all.

What do you think?

If I wanted to upgrade the stock stereo for better sound but leave the speakers in place, what would you recommend? Does anything have an AUX input anymore without having to buy their adapter? I would consider leaving the stock speakers and adding a sub to the stock location behind the driver seat. I am not going to get crazy here... Your inputs are appreciated!!

Any thoughts on a good aftermarket head unit that has an AUX input and will make the stock speakers sound decent? I am willing to add an amp and a sub, but will probably sell the car in two years and don't want to mess with the wiring.

I want to add a touchscreen in the cubby and attach a laptop to it for MP3/DVD/Navigation, and have the laptop connect to the head unit via AUX.

Thanks for any thoughts!
