i have been looking around at diffrent options and i wanted to put a lcd screen in to watch dvds while in the car. I thought about buying a $150 lcd screeen and a ps2 and a converted to run so that i can watch dvd's and play ps2 but i came across this and wasnt sure it would work but JVC has a head unit that says it plays dvd-r's and dvd-rw so would i be able to watch dvd's with this and hook up a ps2 to it, cause i found this headunit for 219 bucks.it a jvc kd-dv5100 at www.millionbuy.com what would be better to get the HU or just stick with my first plan to get the converter to hook up with stock head unit i have the ps2 already.

 

I Actually Have That Jvc Headunit In My Z. It Works Great, It Has An Aux Input In Front And In The Back So That You Can Hook Up Anything From A Vcr To An Ipod. And So On. Its A Good Deal, Get It.

So this might be a stupid question but does this unit play CDs? It doesn't specifically say on any of descriptions.

It notes WMA/MP3 capability but nothing about normal WAV CDs.

 

yes it does play normal cd's its a great deal but i went with the 6000 serise its a little more money but its worth it
