Default Here is a suggestion regarding the Bose problems

It would seem to me that if an audiophile magazine dedicated to car audio were to "test" the sound quality of the 350Z and put this in print, that it would put INCREDIBLE pressure on both Nissan and Bose to resolve the matter expeditiously. I know some of you out there are connected to persons in the industry. Otherwise, a class-action suit might be in order for some speedy results.

what are you suing for? the judge would laugh at you. everyones ears are different you might like some metal domed tweaters vs silk etc etc. it may have sounded good to the person testing it but not to ours or your ears. its a car there has to be some flaws with it.

Car and Driver has already expressed their disappointment in print:

"The flaws include the center console, where Nissan mistook seat-heater buttons for an acceptable armrest (gearchanges are sometimes complemented by a light grilling of the buttocks). The Bose stereo was a huge disappointment, sounding as though its seven speakers were packed with dryer lint. No amount of adjusting could "improve the sound to the level of an AM clock radio," said the logbook. "

I am sure that is what someone said about the woman who won a multimillion dollar lawsuit after *she* spilled a cup of McDonald's coffee in her lap. People have sued for less and won.

The fact that both Nissan and Bose have acknowledged problems indeed exist with the system, it stands to reason that advertising the Bose system as "premium" could therefore have been misleading. Else, the premium amount paid as part of the Touring package to receive a "premium" sound system riddled with problems could be subject to refund. There are a host of possibilities.

Meanwhile, an audiophile magazine could confirm/verify just how "premium" the Bose system is through controlled testing or in comparison testing to the base sound system.

If you have to ask, it's now worth explaining. But, you can check Stillen's stage charts for information.
