Default 2006 owners, did you install any speakers yet? Help!

I have some speakers I want to install, but there is nothing written about how to take apart the door panels for the 06's. Anyone have any experience in this yet?

Just finished putting Boston Z6s in my base 2006. I don't think much different from previous tutorials as far as panel removal. I got Nasar's pods which were beautiful but the cup holder interferes, will have to send back. I used the factory speaker mounts as spacers. Easy, just use pull up the speaker surround with your fingers ( these are some really cheap speakers ), undo your hacksaw blade and pass it through the plastic, then cut around. Literally took two minutes. Cut a little on the inside of the wiring connection to prevent having a little hole to fill ( no big problem, I missed this on the first one and filled with foam ). Remember, the crappy original speaker covers only have half the holes punched. Because of the curved surface using the replacement covers probably not feasible. I drilled more holes in the original covers. Are you running new wire out to the doors? If so PM me and I can provide a few helpful insights.
