Default Installation help! audio guru i need you here!

hi im installing my system this week my parts consist of these items

clarion vrx935vd dvd
metra double din kit
JLXR650 components
JLXR650 coaxials
JL 300/4 slash amp
JL 10w3v2 sub in the factory cubby with dynamatt
JL 250/1 slash amp

and i have a 2 to 4 gauge amp kit

the question is what do i need to know when installing these
(my accord was super easy)

simple tricks like, first thing you gotta do is ground the HU
i've never taken apart the ZR and i dont wanna screw up and blow things up
anythign will help! thx

That's a pretty broad scope. Ask a specific question, and I'll give you a specific answer.

ok, heres another question when i install my system is it ok to have my top down? will the top when down and locked be in my way when i install my rear speakers and amps?

You got me there. I have a hard top. Although, I'd suggest leaving the top open. You get better ventilation & visibility while performing your install. Now on the other hand, leaving the top up might free up some space behind the rear deck for you to work with. I always take this approach.....Before starting any audio project I will visualize what I want to do. If it requires specifications, I'll write them down on paper first. Second, I observe the spot I intend to take apart, modify, or install something. It's good to look at all angles. This will keep you from having any unsuspected obstacles while performing your installation. Last, I take my time. Car interior is flimsy and easy to break. Take your time. Finesse things off, like clips and panels. Rushing leads to aggitation, which leads to BFI(Brute Force & Ignorance).
