do you think maybe you could upload a mpeg2 decoder onto the d1 some how to get it to understand dvd movies? that seems to be the only thing holding it back, and i dont really feel like paying any more money just to watch dvd's..im thinkin that maybe you could use one from one of pioneers pc units, possibly? comp peeps help me out.. or even if i could find out HWAT operating system the d1 was running, i could GET a program made for it?
