240Zplus110: It's an 06'.
no amps, no sub, everything but the headunit is stock still.
It's an AVIC-Z1 with BT adapter, Ipod adapter and Sirius Sat. unit.
christian655321: The Z1 was installed already with a rigged trim ring. It took me about an hour to remove the whole dash piece from the car, install the new trim ring and reinstall it. Hardest part was getting my fat hands behind the radio to unplug all the connectors and then plug them back in.
My new springs, sway bars and wheels showed up today, so back to the driveway to install. Miserable day to do it, it's about 100 in Atlanta today!!

Hey,
I installed my Dash kit today with the AVIC-z1 and I'm getting this issue: the Screen is kind of toughing the Top part of the frame, so when it opens and re-close it tought it and it doens't close complete and then it just re-open itself.
This could eventually damage the motor.
Did you have anything like it with yours ?
anyone have any ideas?

Mine was good. No rubbing. Try to loosen the three screws on each side that hold the mounting brackets to the radio and push them up or down depending where its rubbing and hold them in place while you retighten the screws. There is only a litle play but it's probably only a little bit that is making it rub.
Hope that makes sense.
