They make adapters that convert the ai-net to RCA. So you could use it for any aftermarket HU if you really wanted to.

For this unit i dont think that a convert will work, it is more then just audio that in being used in the ai-net. It displays information like caller ID, and i beleave the phone book.

Just found out that Pioneer will be releasing two Bluetooth compatible HUs here in May: P980BT and P9800BT. Full color screens might even show the caller's photo as well, if pre-programmed (my guess). I will likely go with the 980.
