I thought about a new deck, but I dont like the look of aftermarket decks. Also, the plate surrounding the new deck doesnt seem to blend too well... Lastly, I thought the resale value may drop a bit w/ changing out the oem stereo...

Cool about the perfect reception. I mounted my Sirius antenna under the hatch lid / on the strut bar and I have perfect reception. Not too fond of the antenna on the roof... I was nervous about the reception quality w/ the antennas location being where it was, if I were to drive out of town, but I took a road trip and again --> Perfect. Look forward to the pics.

that is a bas-A** install. Is the whole surrounding piece custom? What is between the two lights (black ball)? Did you do this yourself?

the aai-nis WILL work in your car. 2006 Z is on the list. This will convert your sat. inputs to aux. inputs.
I ordered the aai nis for my 06,they told me it was on backorder, followed up and now check out the reply I got back today from the company:

This is the email I got from PAC on 2-15. I called them today, 2-16 and was told they have no ETA on a fixed unit.

Sorry for the delay

Any other suggestions? My reception is OK once I found another station, however would really like to get the quality sound by having an input.

yes, the whole piece is custom...its kind of a vinyl material....it was done by this shop here in VA called mysafeandsound.com.....the little black ball is a switch for the lights....i no longer have the feature of pushing the light itself to turn it on...not sure why this was done but it doesnt bother me.....it was a long wait but well worth it.

edit: yeah come to think of it, i don't know why they put the switch there....now i have two of them......weird....maybe i'll use it as an NOS switch if i ever get on the bottle.....
