mine would be the full Alpine F#1 system--complete is about 20000.00 for a Z.

I have all my equ. except the sub I am buying that this week. The audio shop in which I have chose to do the install will be ready in a couple of week`s to do the work. I don`t know if this dream system for anyone but I think after 100 or so hour`s after the D9`s open up and it`s tuned it should sound nice For i`ve been researching and buying stuff the last 2 month`s its been A fun prodject. I still have not decided on the kick panels or the door`s for the front set of d9`s the size of them is going to be a problem 7`` with a huge basket

i like boston or focal for components and jl for subs and amps. i always use kenwood for HU. i like w7's ( got 2-12's in my truck) but i think the w6's are enough for the Z. i hear good things about the adire brahma but never heard one yet. always wanted a soundstream tarantula amp 2000W. my dream system wouldnt fit in a z, but i would like 8 13.5 w7's in an suv powered by 4 tarantula amps and a bunch of boston Z6 components.

 

Currently I'm running Utopias through a RF Symmetry & an Eclipse DVC 12" but my dream system would be DynAudio components powered by McIntosh amps but I differ on the sub decision. I competed for several years ( both USAC & IASCA ) with a Lexus GS400 & while it wouldn't be the best choice for SPL, I met some fellow competitors who used Velodyne subs in their Lexus cars. These had some form of servo-feedback & they were the best subs I've heard for SQ. True, they never really produced big SPL numbers but they were tight & responsive for a 12" sub. Just my .02.

they were probably dissassembling a velodyne HGS or DD series home theater sub (since they go AC -> 12v DC anyway). that's pretty sweet... I have a DD10 at home (its like a $2500 retail subwoofer) and would love that kind of SQ sub in my car...

 

money no object, i hire a 3 piece midget (or small chinese musical prodigies)jazzband to ride around with me and play live music, Sax, Bass and trumpet
