Default Replace factory Bose HU

I want to buy an aftermarket HU, I have the 04 Bose system that came with my touring model. Now if I just get an aftermarket HU, will it work with the factory bose speakers? Or do I have to buy like an adapter or something. I don't feel like changing the speakers, the stock Bose speakers are not bad for stockers. Thanks in advance.

There are two rather tiny little amplifiers stuck in the car so your new head end is either going to have to feed them or your installer is going to have to by-pass them. Actually the worse part of the Bose system are the speakers, then the amplifiers - the two parts you plan on keeping. The head end doesn't sound that bad but it does tend to break down a bunch.

Here the amplifer for the subwoofer.

Here's the subwoofer.

And here's the front speakers. If you look really close on the back of the Bose tweeter you can find the "crossover" which is a single capisitor. The Infinity's is the rather large clear box in the bottom left side.

The Infinity equipment isn't the biggest, best, or badest but compared to the Bloze stock stuff it sure looks nice ... and sounds a whole lot better.

Where are the power transistors inside the four channel amplifier shown below???

Bite the bullet and put an end to your suffering ... replace the speakers, amplifier and head-end. Do them a bit at a time if your budget requires but plan on replacing everything short of the antenna please.

If you want AM/FM/CD/DVD/MP3/"Music Juke" with 20GB HDD go with the Eclipse AVX2494 www.eclipse-web.com In addition to the HU, you will need 350Z Dash Kit (PN 120997402) from: www.crutchfied.com plus Bose Harness (PN SVHNI2) and Premium 4ch Adjustable Line Output Converter from: www.peripheralelectronics.com If you are satisfied with the Bose speakers, the above is awesome and will wake up your current system.
