Thumbs up Nissan to take further action on Bose system?

I was about to order the parts for a replacement system from a dealer since I can not stand the Bose system quality.

Last night, by chance, I met a neighbor at a party who works for Nissan USA. I started to speak to them and of course the Bose system problems were a topic of discussion.

Apparently Nissan is working on a resolution... I got no details on what exactly the fix would be other than it is for all systems over and above the old Bose fix which just washes everything out.

Theyre checking for me this week and I will post what I hear.

Overall, I think this is good news - or at least news to keep me from dumping $1000s into my car just yet.

No kidding? I wasn't even going to bother to whine, because it has all been done. But even the $500 Infinity system in my Jeep has better dynamic range. I'm excited to hear what comes about...
