i am not grossly famaliar with all the bose system is desinged on the Gs and Zs, but in other cars i have done, some of they feature an amp on the speaker, or they all run at 2ohm or 1ohm or etc etc...

meaning if you just swaped out one of hte bose sepakres out for an aftermarket one, it will either not work or sound horrible.

got someone asking me to just swap speakers in his bose car, and i dont want to do it if its going to sound horrible or not work, or make zero improvement..

Is price a factor? If not, get him to spring for something like JL's Cleansweep.
