the little boxes are crossovers, used in a 2 way speaker system (component) they devide the signal to a tweeter and a woofer.. not sure about the company concept sounds familure but i cant remember off teh top of my head..

based off those specs they should be pretty decent.. i would recommend going to a decent audio shop in town let them see what oyu have and they will recommend what you need... a new deck and an amp would most likely be good.. and fairly easy to install since you already have the wiring done..

Just notice you're in Essex county. I'm nearby (union county). quality Head units are plentiful. Depends on what you're looking for in terms of looks and features. a two channel amp for the front components would be sufficent. The rear speakers can be ran off the head unit. Then later you can get a sub and amp for some bass.

I was starting to worry as I went thought pictures, watching how the power cable (red ) was just tossed against the body and you crossing them. But then at the end the I saw the pic with the battery disconnected from the red wire, I was relived.

Ok I did some research... I found some sub boxes that have single or dual openings... Now the problem is my Amp wire is grounded in the back... where the small compartments are but on the other side. So that means my AMP would have to be there too. But I want something that wont attract the theives so I want my amp hidden on and not for show. Is there any box that hides the Amp?

My advice is to save some money until you can get a good HU, amp and sub and have a good installer put them in. I'm not sure how much you'd need to save to achieve that goal, and it's subjective as to which brands count as "good". It may be that you can get a good sub, HU and amp for 600. Perhaps one of the industry people here can give you a better idea of the pricing. Don't think that you're limited to 600 bucks. Wait a couple months, save some cash, and get a system that you'll be happy with instead of thinking, "Damn, I wish I'd gotten a better headunit."
