Just bought a dvd player.. want to know is it ok to plug it in to the cigarette plug?

Default Just bought a dvd player.. want to know is it ok to plug it in to the cigarette plug?

I bought the dvd player in HK.. so that's why Im wondering..
It comes with a cigarette plug.. and it is written DC9~12V 1.25A in the dvd player..
So is it ok to plug it into the cigarette plug to get power??

OH.. Im sorry..
It is a external dvd player
And HK stands for Hong Kong..

So based on DC9~12V 1.25A, is it ok to plug it in the cigarette plug to get power??

yes, it would be ok.. cig lighters are all 'fused' so nothing will happen to your car.
