Hi, folks do you guys think it would be worth it to just upgrade my HU to the BOSE HU, and replace the speakers and put in a sub in the stock location with aftermarket stuff? I really want the stock look, and the in dash BOSE HU cd changer would be rad. Since everyone seems to be putting in new HU I figured it might be worth it to pick one up cheap. My question is would it be simple to replace the Performance HU with the Bose HU, and more importantly would it be good enough? I of course would add an amp to supply the HU/speakers. What do you guys think??

 

I'll have a Bose headunit for sale tomorrow after totally redoing my system. As far as quality...the Bose system sucks!!! However, I believe using the headunit with different amps and speakers may be closer to the sound you're looking for while maintaining the stock look.
