Vantage,

That's bad ***!! I would definitely rock that.. Let me do some research and I'll get back to you..The price is definitely on point too.

Edit: On second thought: I thought it came with NAVI but apparently its just the monitor that will take AUX input. I'd say if you're in the market for a double din nav setup check out the AVIC-D1, or the newly released AVIC-D2. If you want to be super pimp hop on the AVIC-Z1, which is suppossed to be rather insane. If Jim sees this thread he'll probably chime in.

I know the Eclipse double dins are cool but I don't really like the sound. Are you bored of your Kenwood? I thought that was a pretty good unit overall? Me personally I'll probably end up with a Avic-D1 as soon as prices plummet a little bit more.

Ravi

its actually for a friend,I am doing an install for him. I just check too, this unit also has no DVD. I like the AVIC-D2, I might convince him into getting that or the kenwood ddx 7017. thanks ravi

This unit is awesome. It is about 6/7 years old. This came out around 1999/2000 when the Cva-1005 came out. I know this because at that time I had a full nav and DVd player from Alpine which included the cva-1000 then the 1005. I had went to their Japan site to see if I could find pictures of their screens in different modes. This unit here was their flagship at the time because it had everything. Hell, I would get it if I didn't have my Eclipse. Go for it. You can still hook up Ai-net components along with the USA navigation. only thing is you won't be able to do sat radio. ---post a picif you get it.
