Default Revised System in 04 Redline

Whats up guys. I just redid my system over, kept all my same components. here is a few pics.. I made a fiberglass tub to house the amps, and kept my original plexiglass box for the subs. I wrapped it with two tone vinyl. I had to use diamond audio grills for my Infinity kappa components because the infinity grills are to big for the pods. I also added the Alumapro 15 farad cap along with a new stinger voltage meter in the center console.

Wow. You definitely have a one of a kind look there! A lot of work was put into that and I am sure you are proud of it.

So with the farenhiet modification and the kenwood HU, you can watch DVD and view the navigation map at the same time?

I can almost picture "Kane" from WWE driving your Z.

Nice work, I like the two tone finish - is that red stitching on the shifter boot too?

Thanks Ravi, I absolutly love the kenwood. I just finished putting a system is my girlfriends Z. I installed the Eclipse 5435 DVD + Navi, After comparing the two head units, the kewood has about 10 to 15 more tuning options. The eclipse only has the internal EQ and thats it. With the kenwood you have total control of each amp and each individual speaker for a perfect sound stage. I'am not a proffesional installer, but i do know what sounds good. Oh ya you need the DSP for the kenwood, it's a must. Unless you get the DDX-8017 which has the dsp built in.

We went with my eclipse because the kenwood unit needs a separate navigation unit whereas the eclipse was one unit with two cd slots. I didnt wanna be bothered with purchasing two separate units and finding a spot to hide it. I like the factory look so I didnt wanna take up my little storage compartment above the radio either. So far, I have no complaints about my decision.

Oh and p.s. I think my radio's features are easier to access/navigate through than Mr. V's. I can never get his to do what I want!! Haha.
