Put the OEM clip back in the hole.

If you want to remove the anchor, go back to the garage and get one of the new anchors left in the box... unscrew the screw from the middle, screw it into the used anchor, then unscrew putting force on the bottom of the anchor so it releases from the hole.

Ahh, I see what you mean. I was skeptical at first as most of what I could find online just said to snap the head off with pliers and push the body into the wall.. which would be fine if we were using this as intended and not in the roof of my car. =)

Hey Professional, did you ever successfully install the remote display in the voltmeter gauge in the cluster?
