Question Would be a good idea to....

I was just wondering if it's a good idea to add a new subwoofer with amp without removing the bose system thats already in the car, just to add bass which the current system really lacks. Hope what i'm trying to say is understandable. i know next to nothing when it comes to audio systems

thanx

Dude, Brunei in the house! Nice to see the Z has some real world wide appeal. I'm not sure if your "fix" is do-able, because I'm not sure how the Bose could hook up to an amp. Is there even a separate subwoofer out?

Hey thx for the reply!
yeah i'm quite lucky to get it as its actually the ONLY one in Brunei at the moment . they will be a few more coming, one in february and another 3 in march. The dealer says that international orders are just too great and thats all they could actually get their hands on. Hopefully that'll change in the future though. I love my 2 day old Z! hehehe

Anyways what i meant was if i were to get an aftermarket sub like pioneer or something, hook it up alongside the bose system with its own separate amp just to get some bass. After all the money i spent on the car, i dont really want to spend too much on the sound system at the moment. 68k Bruneian dollars. 1 US dollar = around 1.8 Brunei dollar. My idea is kinda like a temp fix hehehe. Looking forward to replys
