Default hi/lo converter problems

I just put a system in my car, and all the wires are hooked up right, and i put the hi/lo converter to a speaker, and it didnt work, so i moved on and tryed to put it to the sub, and it still didnt work, I dont get what the heck is up because its not getting any signal in the RCAs from the speakers. could it be because everythings amplified stock?

any idea whats up?

I had this happen when I installed a system in a 350z... some of the wires were not what my service manual said they were...

Beware... If you have a DMM. Check and make sure their is voltage going through the wire you tapped...

the thing I dont get, is the amp is one, and when i go to tapp the hi/lo converter into a speaker, it doesnt send any signal to the amp, but when i plug the speaker back in, the speaker works.

If it is bose you have to bypass that signal you can't just Tap the wires. If not try to get your signal right behind the speaker if it is out just to check it. if still nothing check your wiring might be bad ground, bad amp, or pinched wire. Because if u tried three conv that is not the problem.

Try this they should have what you need.

from my experience bose is not fun to upgrade... almost easier to replace head unit and run new wires to all the speakers. Hope it helps
