Im building a Carputer, which is going to take the nav cuby space and im looking for a head unit for a good price that would replace the stock HU anyway my question is the following, i dont know much about car audio and I need something not too expensive that will sound nice...

ok question:

How many speakers do I need to replace on the Z? my buddy tells me that I should only replace the 2 door speakers? I want to know if I need to replace all of them for good sound?

as far as bass I think 1 10" sub will do it, what are good brands with clean base?

amp what would I need?

Keep it simple would be my advice.....components up front, 4-channel amp, and a 10 or 12.

If you want/need rears, just use the amplifier inside the HU.
