naww just the fuel tank

and I am serious.

Your best bet is to get a piece of mdf and make small supports for it and glue the whole rig down to the floor. pretty much what I am doing

if I was you Id make my ground wire larger and reduce the distance to your grounding point...

Oh man that was what I thought then. So you think I should get thicker cables and shorten them? It works fine though

actually I reviewed my service manual and there looks to be nothing under there... which I didnt realize.

At the very least shorten them as much as you can.

The idea with the MDF has another value : noise insulation. A lot of noise is coming through that sheet metal. The MDF platform will keep your stuff in place, it will let you attach the wires so they also aren't all over, and you can put something between it and the floor for noise. Just a thought.

U can attach them with heavy duty velcro. Thats what a few people have done. U can also put ur amps under ur seat as an alternative.

I forgot all about velcro... good idea.

I also forgot about all the noise. I covered my entire car with about 100 sqft of dynamat. The area that was most effected by the addition of dynamat was that back area as well as the area just behind the seat where the stock blose sub goes.

Thats what I thought. Those wheel wells are noisy as heck. So this could be a good chaance to lay down some material.

What a waste of space! If you don't need your spare tire, that's great and all, but it hardly seems worth losing just to mount some amps in such a manner.

What should I have there instead? The spare tire is worthless to my since I have 20" rims right now, have a spare tire on a can instead. Maby I'll change my installation later but this works great right now.

I would personally do a mdf cut out to the shape of the spare tire well. Cover it in carpet.. Then mount the amps to it. That way you can stick cabling under it and come threw holes right at the amps. Would look very clean.
