the harness is about $60 - $70

However, you will need to crank it up all the way to 15 to 20 and still can't hear shiet.

Guys, Derek from Bestkits.com emailed me back. He said that we will need Peripheral Electronics interface SVEN4 & SVHNI2. They list them on there webpage for $64.95. There # is 727-572-9255 . Its unfortunate what Bubble is saying cause I really wanted this to work. I have heard of some people being happy with the conversion but Im not sure what they used. A local stereo shop in Phoenix wanted to sell me the converter for $200, Im not sure if its the same part or something better.

Those are the same numbers I provided in my post above. The shop that installed my system charged me $39.95 for the SVEN4 and $9.95 for the SVHNI2. That shop in Phoenix is making a BIG profit!

Sorry for posting the same info but I was trying to get more info since people were having trouble finding where to get them.

SungNamZ, Are you happy with your sound? Are you having the same low volume problems that Bubble is seeing?

If I would have known three 6cd changers ago that changing the HU to the Eclipse AVX2494, plus the harness and converter would have made the differece in the Bose system that it did, would have made the switch in October 2004.

Recommend you find someone that has knowledge in adjusting the converter. Haven't noticed the problems that Bubble experienced.

when i switched out my Bose deck, i put in Kenwood DDX 7015. Paid $60 for the harness. The sound like crap. Can't heard as good as stock Bose. So end up replaced the whole system (2 new amps, 2 set of new component speakers, Sub)
