Unfortunately we have to make a price adjustment on these boxes. With th ecost of just about everythng going up we are now paying more for material.
New price will be $319.95.

Lightbulb Any luck on JL 10W3 in Glove Box Enclosure

Are you having any luck on modifying the glove box enclosure for the350z to work with the JL 10w3v3. I’m putting a lot of planning into my install and I don’t want the subs to be the weakest link. I have seen an awesome install where they used 2 JL 8W7s behind the seats in ported enclosures. They fired forward of course and it looked awesome I just wish I could hear it. The Specs on the 8w7 call for a sealed box of 0.875 cu. ft. or ported at 1.0 cu. ft. It also looks like the 10W6v2 would work in this box in a front firing configuration. It’s specs call for 0.625 cu. ft. and it has displacement of 0.068 cu. ft. so that would work perfect. I would actually like to show off my subs instead of tucking them away. I’ve seen a few posts on the internet where guys have build mdf boxes for behind the seats and I could always do that but I see no point in reinventing the wheel. Would it be possible to modify your enclosures to work with 10w6v2 in a front firing mode. If so what would something like that cost.

We are working on a new design, I don't expect it to be done for at least a month or so.

I need a stock glove box if someone wants to send it to me.

Can you give any details on what your new design will be like? I think I got one of your earlier models from one of the members here. I wish I could put the box in the trunk, makes a big difference compared to behind the driver seat, but I like to keep my trunk space and even though it probably does nothing, but keep my weight distribution stockish, lol. Love the box though, keep up the great work!

Ourgoal with the new design will be to acomodate for a deeper sub. Deeper mounting depth. Atleast for a 10w3.

I really want this enclosure so as to not use up my limited trunk space on a sub, even though it won't sound as good. I don't want super huge bass, just enough to accentuate my components.

Any luck on the new design. I'm ready to order as soon as you've got it together.

New enclosure will be a while.

MethodRN,

It sound like it will fit, But my enclosure is Sealed.

KManZ
This was designed for the space concious driver, It has tons more bass then the stock system, But will not compare to the strut tower enclosures.
