Thumbs up New system installed...sounds great!

Installation complete (see components below).....wife drove me to pick up the car last night and we almost had an accident when she asked me how much the new stereo cost...oh, well...this is not the worst thing I have done to her in the last 30 years!

Couple notes....Staytuned (high-end installer in Milwaukee area) elected to put the Amps under the seats.....they seem to fit very well there and don't take any valuable space from any other location.

Also, they located the Sub in the compartment behind the driver in a custom box and installed it facing UP, rather than straight at my head.....sounds great to me.

Excellent choices on components.

Do you know what they did for your sub enclosure? MDF? Fiberglass? Airspace? Boston Pro subs love small enclosures and love to have their insides resined (regular fiberglass polyester resin) along with some foam damping layed loosely inside. These two things will really bring your sub alive both in sound and volume.

It is MDF, don't know about the foam damping

Any chance you can hook me up with the dimensions of the custom MDF sub enclosure? It would be much appreciated

What were you looking to gain with this info? Seeing how the 8.5 pro needs less then .4 cubic feet air space, it should be tiny (my 10.5 pro needs .5 cu ft ). I'd like to know to see how well his shop built the box for him and give him advice on how to improve it.
