new headunit, ddx 6001919, 7017 or 8017?!?!?
ugh, i cant decide. read up on all of them. still cant decide. main thing holding me back on the 6019 is the 2v preouts compared to the 5v on the 7017 and 8017. should i be concerned about this issue? im running an esclipse headunit with 5v preout right now and i love the sound. so that leads me to the 7017 vs the 8017. is the extra $250 for the 8017 worth it? ugh!! i love the bigger screen on the 6019! klasjdflkjalkfjlas why couldnt make the 6019 with 5v preout!?!?!?! help! thanks!
It depends on your expectations, and you amps. If you have alot of extra power, or have very clean amps, then you may be able to afford the 2v's.
I went from a 2volt pioneer to an 8v eclipse, and the difference is amazing, totally discernable. The manufacturer certainly contributes to the difference.
IMO spend the extra cash and do it right the 1st time. It will always cost more in the end to skimp in the beginning.
