so try
1 300/2
1 1000/1
1 12w7 (the farther back the better i know cause i use to own one)
jl audio XR's up front (either the two ways or 3 ways)
something cheap in the rear.
if you decide to go this route i have that 300/2 still (the one that's praticly new) and i will include two amp kits to go with it. although i dont have my old 1000/1 0guage kit.

hmmmm, man you really got me thinking, thats a great set up, plus i can add another 300/2 amp to the rears later if i wanted to..... Excellent ... gotta do some adding and comparing... i think up a set up and post it....see what you think...
thanks again
oh hey, i was thinking, if i got just ...."just" the one W7, i was thinking to put it in the area behind the rear speakers and the strut....but you say farther back (and seeing the power and the basics of sound systems,) , i agree... but putting it under the strut, like i originall wanted to do with the 3 W6s, might looked wierd with just that 1 sub .... or would it ( would it fit)??? i reallllllly wanna avoid a big box in tha back, or using the tirewell, just cause it looks like wasted space ..... wadayathink??
thanks again

it's either a big box in the back or a big box in the front. if you want better SQ it will sound better farther away. you probably wouldn't notice it much with it being under the strut bar. a 12w7 should fit. i took some measurements before for it and i believe it should be made pretty easily. just allow it to have some room to breathe and they sound better in a slot ported box.

Three more Questions.....
What if i just put in 1 10W7 and hooked it up to the 500/1, (would it bump more than 2 10W6v2's??) ??? im thinking of alternitives to the 12W7[beast!!] and a 1000/1 amp.....
What if i invert the sub, is there less sound quality, loudness ..... is it a good idea????
What about other products other then JL that would save me $$$$ but not rob me of power/quality......

i wouldn't advise inverting the w7 because of the heavy magnetic structure. most installers will tell you the same thing also. it will sound much better with the cone up instead of down.
the 500/1 was made for the 10w7 with the 1000/1 for the 12 and 13w7. the 250/1 is made for the soon to be released 8w7. keep in mind you are better to over power than to under power.

i'd do the w7 10 with a 500/1. i'm more of an SQ person and it would suit my needs perfectly and still get annoyingly loud if you wanted it too.
the excursion capabilities of the w7 will move more air causing more spl than the w6's would.
personaly i'm going to do 2 8w7's with a 500/1 later on this year. i need to quit wasting money on my project car though.
