Default RCA connection etc for bose headunit

ok i am totally confused on the products i need to buy and want to get it straight... i am connecting my amp to my stock bose headunit...i left my speakers connected to the bose amp and am just running my sub from my amp currently... so to do that you need to run the RCA cord to the headunit Correct??? but to do that you need a line level converter like such http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Uo1cwHl...=LOC&i=142SLC4 correct??? but to connect to that what do i need to do...this is where i get confused and dont know which wiring harness or whatever to buy...ithanks

im doing the same thing to my z right now as well. the part that i would get is a PAC AOEM-NIS2. it plugs directly into the back of the head unit (no cutting of any wires) and has 2 sets of rca outs. look up the part on this site or the internet. if you have problems pm me. also just wanted to let you know that youll need to run a power, ground, remote, and the rcas to the amp.
