Default HELP: head unit install do i need...

hi all im installin my system right now my question is do i need to disconnect my battery to install my head unit or can i leave it? i see the how to's but they dont say anything about disconnecting it im worried because a shop that i know said that it should be done, but if i disconnected it i wont be able to move my seats around to wire my stuff

any help is appreciated ^^

Default Always...

Always disconnect the negative terminal whenever you're doing any electrical work, no exceptions.

i ran all my wires to where the would eventually end up before i disconnected the battery and then when i started hooking things up i disconnected it. you def dont want to be wiring with the battery still connected...very possible to damage something
