Default Navigation system

Hello,

We have a 2005 Touring 350Z. Nav. system cover does not open and close as it should, sometimes gets stuck half-way, sometimes would not open or close at all. Dealership cannot figure out what's wrong. Anybody had the same problem? Thanks.

Your dealership folks are idiots. Its the motor, they will need to replace the entire door module. Had mine done when I first got it. Gyu came out, said he needed to order the part, came back the next week and it took him 15 minutes to change the door out.

Thanks for the reply. They just changed the door, although it took them not 15 minutes but about 7 hours - they said that had to take the entire dash off. Well, the door still does not work. Now they are going to call techical support at headquaretrs for advise. Frustrating...
