Default HELP: CD jammed in OEM stereo

My "linkin park" cd is jammed inside my 04 350z OEM stereo head unit. The radio works both FM/AM, however the CD cannot eject or play any music. When I press eject, it sounds like the CD is skipping, and doesn't want to come out. Would appreciate any suggestions, otherwise I will have to buy a aftermarket head unit.

If you still have teh warranty take it to teh stealership. Try the 2nd CD method..most CD players have a sensor which spits out a cd if it isn't in correctly, and having a 2nd CD there simulates that. Itll also tell you if the motor is broken or the button.

Mine is doing (or not doing) the same thing. Though the CD plays, everytime I press the eject button, all it does is click numerous times. I'll try the 2nd CD method. My patience lacks, so if I use needle nose pliers, I'll probably end up stabbing the damn deck.

Unfortunately, you will have to visit your dealer. They should order you another unit. Upon receipt of the replacement unit they will remove/replace your bad unit. They are not authorized to disassembly the CD player. It will be shipped back to Nissan/Clarion, where your CD's will be removed and returned to your dealer/you. Happened to me three times and then I woke up and replaced HU with Eclipse AVX2494.
