does a sub sound better in the stock location or in the hatch area (coupe)? I'm looking for just a little bit more boom in my system, but don't want to go all out on audio equipment.

in a word... hatch... but if you dont want to loose the space you can get a decent upgrade from the stock location. It depends on what you listen to. for massive bass you have to use the hatch.

are you currently using the apline type R in your stock sub location? I just get the apline type R sub and wonder if it will fit it there. is it hard to fit it there? Thanks in advance!

i had to make some mods to the box design that is floating around to get a 7 in mounting depth but yes i am using it now and it hits pretty strong. its not hard to fit at all. i like that sub for the shallow box because it vents out the side instead of out of the bottom of the sub.

that has a pic of the box that i used as a guide to make mine.
