Default What does this light mean? (pic)

Hey Guys,
What does this light mean? Low tire pressure?? I just sold my 04' Z and I bought a new 06'. Since I drove it off the lot (about 3 weeks ago) this light has been on all of the time. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Did you get the car cheaper for not getting an owner's manual? If so, how much cheaper was it?

yes it is the tire pressure light. if you read the manual i believe it says

- this light will not detect a sudden change in tire pressure ... ie blow out
- but it will eventually detect a change in pressure. when it does the light will flash for ten seconds and then remain on .. etc etc.
- check if your tires are low
-if this is not the case then the tpms may not be functioning correctly and you should take it in.

thats from what i remember. so it may be incorrect.

peace
phil

noob!!! lol!! Son!! Please!! I have accomplished more in the Import Scene than half the members on this board (including 4 magazine spreads and a cover feature). So quit flexing your internet ***** and actually lower your standards just long enough to help an enthusiast in need of some input. Geezzz….

On another note, I figured it was the tire pressure but I just wasn’t sure. I know in my 04’ if my tire pressure got low my gauge to the right of my steering wheel would blink which would immediately let me know my tire pressure was low but that is not the case in the new Z. Plus my tire pressure is perfect…hmmm….maybe I will have to take it in…..thanks phil…

Because how stupid do you have to be to drive a car with a light in your face and not check the manual to see what it is. So you STFU and I don't care what you think if you don't like it screw you too

just press the button on the right side of the gauge cluster see which tire needs air and you are set to go. unless you have aftermarket wheels with no tps

if that is the case there is a way to disable it otherwise that annoying chime would go off and the light would be on.

i also had a related question though.. what if you do go with aftermarket wheels with no tps. is there a way to bypass the light or disconnect it. just a thought.

^^there is a way however i don't know what thread it was on. I don't remember if it had to do with a fuse or something. Depending on what wheels you are looking into it may just work with them....what wheels you looking at

I read someone did do that with some type of band used to keep them in place. I would hate to have the loud chime and light on all the time..
