Default Speaker question

I'm getting new speakers for my Z, but I wanted to know if I needed any type of speaker mount for the door speakers, or can I just simply install them where the facotry speakers were? I've read threads about people using mounts, but I'm not exactly sure if it's necessary. Where might I be able to get these mounts if they are needed?

Thanks guys!

6.5s should mount in the stock locations just fine. Just make sure you new speakers are not too 'deep' to mount there. If they are, you can make a 1/2 Spacer out of MDF.

Sounds good. Does anyone know how deep of a speaker I can install without the use of a spacer?
