Default help: eclipse ipod adapter

As you can tell from the several threads I've started, I have a number of issues with my install this weekend.

So I have the AVN5500 with the ipod adapter hooked up. When I hook up my ipod, the song I have going starts playing but I have no control over it at all. The manual indicated that you control it using the CD Changer or Serius controls, but neither of those buttons don't pop up on my audio source controls (I just have AM/FM/DVD etc.). I have tried every combo of A/B on the switches.

Note that my issue is different than others who had trouble hooking up their Serius with the ipod adapter. I don't have a CD changer or satellite radio.

Appreciate any help.

call eclipse and they will help you...they are very good about customer service. i had a sirius and ipod hookup so i'm not sure how you would hook yours up. you should control it through the sirius and i believe you should plug into lan2 on your ipod box. try that maybe.

Disconnect power to your IPC and 5500, I ad te same problem with my 5435. Set your switches to A/b, connect the cable to the 5500, then connect power to the IPC and then to the 5500. The Sirius logo sould appear. You have to disconnect all power and then reconnect it for it to read that you have a unit connected to it. If you choose A/A--the cd changer logo will appear! If tis doesn't work, call Eclipse--they are extremely helpful and helped me out !
