You guys gotta hep me here, I need subscriptions to Sport Z Magazine to make up for that butt load of cash [my secret] I spent to have all that stuff done for me.

BTW, glad you guys [see other posts] enjoy my house where my Z sleeps, it is a bit of Colorado paradise.

Come on 350Z guys, I need some support here for Sport Z Magazine, it's the only mag devoted to the cars we love.

Default Amp question

This is close to what I am trying to put in my Z. Why did you use separate amps for the front and rear? I was planning on a JL Audio 300/4 to drive front and rear. What are the trade offs?

I wanted seperate amps for all the sets of speakers so I could control what db level and frequency via the touch screen crossover controls. With 3 seperate amps, I'm in total control of the amps and the speakers. If I want +4db to the subwoffers--done. If I want the crossover frequency and levels to the MBQuart front speakes changed--done.

The 500w sub amplifier can cause a significant breeze in the front, but it's nothing like the air movement I get from the setups in several of my Denver Broncos friends. Hip hop is not my favorite kind of music [being kind] and my Z is somewhat smaller than their Hummer 2's and Excalade's, but my tunes can be experienced at a db level just this side of the threshold of pain. Just not rap, thank you.
