Default Jensen VM9021TS Double Din DVD

ok, normally i wouldnt touch a jensen product but the features on this thing is amazing considering you can get it for just over $600.

avi, mpeg 1, 2, 4, svcd, vcd playback is nice, plus has a tv tuner built in.

http://www.cardomain.com/item/JENVM9021TS for complete list of specs.

if anyone has experience it would be nice to get some feedback.

the feature list is impressive, no doubt. All that stuff in practice is very hard to feel out so I understand why you came here.

Hell try it, if it sucks...send it back.

On this matter I would just say you get what you pay for. Building a high quality HU costs money. IMHO, stick with Alpine, Pioneer... there is a reason those brands are expensive but yet so popular.

It all depends on the quality that you demand as a listener. Above someone mentions sticking to high quality Alpine or Pioneer, I would classify those as below quality for me. That's not to say that either of the two are solid performers, just that my expectations for quality are higher than they can provide. So in that line of thought, Jensen with all of the features offered maybe the selection that meets your budget and gives you features you require.

alright normally i'd be with all these guys saying it's crap cuz yes, it's Jensen. I installed one of these about a month ago into a Durango at Tweeter (NO we dont sell it) and was very skeptical about the unit. But i really have to give Jensen props on this one. Now keep in mind Tweeter sells the AVIC-Z1 and i benchmark everything against that... and i'm in no way saying it's comparable but for the money the amount of stuff this unit does is AMAZING. picture quality is pretty good considering. The unit has so many ins and outs on the back of it it's kinda hard to stuff it all but on the same note it's pretty impressive that it's got a center channel rca out at that price.
So again while the flaming of Jensen is understandable, this unit deserves a second look AMAZINGLY.
