Default alpine amp question

i have 2 alpine v12 amps that my brother gave me...a 4 channel and a 2 channel....im wondering if they are powerful enough for maybe 2 jl audio w3 or maybe 1 jl w6....also what is realistically better out of the jl subs...2 w3 or 1 w6?

alpine v12 mrv-t757 (2/1 channel) and a alpine v 12 mrv-f407 (4/3/2 channel)

I think the 2 channel would be okay on a 2 w3 or 1 w6

the four channel would be good for a set of components.

well an old Sounddomain item listing says:

http://www.cardomain.com/item/ALPMRVT757

every person says it has a *lot* more pwer than it is rated. so you probably are fine.
