Question upgrading hu

I have been wanting navigation ever since i bought the car so I just purchased the pioneer AVIC-D1, now i have a question for you guys. I already have aftermarket stereo equipment, Since I am already running an after market hu/screen in cubby will i need to purchase an additional wiring harness or anything else? I am changing up from an alpine hu (single din) to the pioneer which is DD. any input would be good.

thanks

I'm thinking that the jacks on an Alpine aren't going to match those of a Pioneer - a Crutchfield adapter harness will link to the factory plugs if they're weren't cut off (always a bad thing).

It'll be a direct drop in if you used a wiring harness from the start.

The D1 is a very easy fit.
