Default Alpine PDX Amps

just looked at these. Kinda expensive but really small, and all 3 versions are the same size. wondering if any of you guys have tried em out yet.... what kinds of different setups, where all they fit, what you guys run with em.

They really seem to offer a alot of power in a very very small package. I wonder how well they keep cool.

i just put the 1.100 in a mustang with a premier TS-W3002SPL sub in a custom box i built. it sounded great and hit hard. these amps are very clean and efficient. they are so small you can literally put them anywhere. the amp doesnt get any hotter than anyother amp out on the market.

I currently have the PDX-1.1000 and the PDX-2.150 awaiting install. Should be installed in a couple weeks. As far as the craftsmanship goes they are top quality, very solid build.

You can actually stack up to three of them and they each come with mounting hardware to do this, otherwise they are very small so you can mount them just about anywhere.

I'll try and remember to post back once I get them installed. The 150x2 will be powering Alpine Type-X 3-way components and the 1000x1 will be powering two Type-R 10's in a custom spare wheel box. All sourced from a Alpine IVA-W200 . . . notice a trend? I like Alpine heh. Hopefully will be complete with by the end of January.

^ dude did you get these installed? impressions, do you have any pics?

ive ordered 3 Alpine PDX amps to repalce all 3 of my JBL amps

ill be using the 1000.1 to run my TypeX sub, the 4.150 bridged to 2x300 to run my MB Quart Q-line front splits, and the 2.150 to run JBL GTi 6.5 2 ways in the rear

the only issue i have is the damn blue led on the front, since my whole install is orange led light, and the JBL amps light up red. Im hoping my installer can solder some red leds in there. The small size is great for me, because i dont want to change the aesthetics of my amp rack
