Default Z BOSE sub..should have used Murano design

Has anyone seen the Bose sub in the Murano. A pretty nifty use of space and could have probably done the same on the Z...not sure why they didn't.

The Murano Bose sub is located in a circular box that fits inside of the spare tire rim. When you access the spare tire, then unscrew the nut that keeps the spare in place you can remove the circular black sub box, then the spare.

Now for those that want to stay with the Bose stereo, it would be interesting to see if it will fit inside the rim of the spare in the Z. You would need to tap into the wire that goes to the current Bose sub, but I bet it could be done. That's assuming you want to stay with the BOSE!

UGHH! Who in their right mind would want to relocate and reinstall the crappy Bose sub. I think it may function and put out more bass as a frisbee...

Oh believe me I agree, we could start a circuit....BOSE frisbee golf..hehe!

What interested me was the fact that obvious R&D went into the design of the BOSE system in the Murano, while a complete lack of inovation and/or design was spent on the Z. This isn't my first Z, nor my first experience with the BOSE system in the Z...therefore I knew better and ordered my Performance model. See there is a financial impact to putting crap out like this. Oh and for the record the Murano BOSE system actually sounded very good.

I like the design of the Murano, but never had the chance to check out it's tunes...

This Z is is my first Z, and I like the Touring model (nav is great), and my chickey likes the heated seats...leather is cold on your *** in single digit temperatures and cold weather. Her *** seems to be extremely sensitive to the cold. So, the touring was the better option for me, I just wished that I didn't have to pay extra for that so called "Premium" system. After all, it would have had to sound pretty good for me not to rip it out anyways...I am finicky about my sounds, but I also don't like paying extra for garbage either...this whole Bose thing has me a little miffed !
