Default Center console loose?

After I installed a headunit in the car I noticed that the piece that had the 3 gauges won't clip all the way back in. It will stay in for about 5-10 minutes and slowly drop. (see picture)

Anybody have some techniques on how to get it to stay? I was going to give up and put some velcro to stick it. I spent 2 hours on it today taking it in and out and in and out...

THANKS!!

Make sure that you haven't run any wires up along the top where the center gauge cluster needs to pop it. I found that one of my ground wires was sticking out just far enough to interfere with the clip on the very top left to fit into place. It would get close to going in but wouldn't go all the way. It's really tight back there and it doesn't take much to get in the way. I have a Pioneer AVIC N2 which has a whole bunch of wires coming and going ... and I dread ever time I go in there.
