On the surface, it's easy, it's 4 screws. The only downside is that the color of the door is more of a graphite than a charcoal so it will not match exactly unless you go through switching the doors or painting it. For a long time it didn't bother me much because when I am driving the thing was open anyway.

I switched doors recently and it was a royal pain in the behind. The inside molding is different, the biggest difference is the small post with the hole in it that connects to the retractor mechanism. I had to fabricate a hinge like piece of metal and pop rivet it to the 03 metal bracket. Then I had to add plastic to the plastic rivets so I could melt my 04.5 door onto the 03 metal bracket. It looks perfect now but does not feel quite the same when moving it.

Hope that helps a little.

PS. its 4 screws after you take off the shifter finisher, the 8 screws holding the center console and AC control box, remove the AC control box, disconnect the 3 gauge cluster, and lift it all up and out.

I have a 6.4" monitor in my 05 cubby and im sure the 7" will fit fine. I actually cut the back of my cubby with a dremel and stuck the screen behind that. You have room for a 1.25" thick monitor and 7" screen any larger and the door closing mechanism will not work.
