Default What do you think for Bass?

Hi everyone,

I have a very basic setup in my Z.

Stock headunit
Pioneer 10" in the stock sub location. (TS-W1041DVC)
Pioneer spilts in the front.

Im somewhat happy with the sound but I would really like better bass with what I have. Ordinarily, Id get a box made up etc but in Japan, they dont really know much about sound setup etc..

So Im asking for your advice, what can I do to improve my current sound.
Id like to mainly improve the bass. (deeper, lower bass for Hip Hop music). Currently its loud and hard. More for dance. It has improve since I dampened the enclosure but its still not low. Is it the subwoofer I have??

Please give me some input. Thanks everyone.

The Zenclosure sold on E-bay for $99 is a perfect fit for the coupe. Two 10 inch woofers driven by the right amplifier will go a long way to driving you deaf.

I'd go with what either Nazar or Paul says. Purchase an enclosure from the U.S., and have it shipped. Mike from Z-enclosures also does a great job from what I've heard. You may need to go with two 10's or a single high powered 12 to get the job done.

Sounds like a plan.. but will the bass be lower and deeper if I still use my current subwoofer?
