so i noticed today that my passenger side speaker no longer works. i dont know why because the tweeter still works and i assume if it still works then the crossover must be fine as well.

my speakers are wired to head unit then to a jl 300/4. amp is working, everything is working like it should but the 6.5" in the door.

what could it be? i took the speaker out and inspected it but it doesn't appear to have any severed or loose wires. think it could be blown? thanks for the help

also if anyone is willing to sell me just one of these JL RX650 6.5" speakers, i'll buy.

 

It's likely that your speaker is blown. Wire up a home speaker to the thing and you'll quickly known what's wrong.
