Newbie question
im sorry for this stupid question but im planning on buying some speakers and i need to know the size of the rear panel speakers and the door panels. and does anyone have any suggestions.. so far i have a sony headunit (im replacing with an alpine) 2 10's alpine type R subs a kenwood 1600 watt mono amp..

Hey, The only "Stupid" question is the one you DON'T ask. So don't worry.
The speaker are 6.5'', the front are Composite (Crossover separete Bass from high signals).

6.5 all the way around. You will need spacers to make the front door speakers fit.

oh my type Rs are already hooked up its just when u turn it up u hear mostly bass.. it needs some louder door speakers n a set of tweeters to make it just right... but overall the type Rs hit real hard,... but it could use some dynomat so it wouldnt rattle soo much.. do u have the Zenclosure too? im thinking about making my own custom one with more airspace.

no. i went w/a box from super crew sound. check it out. they claim that it has 1.5 ft of air space. the box fits in front of the stut bar. i've been impressed so far w/it.

I have these for my fronts and they sound absolutely AMAZING!!! Sounds like the band is in my car. lol. I also have the focals in the rear. You can't go wrong with these if your an audiophile! The K2P would have been even better for mid-bass, but they said it would not fit in my door panel.
