Default XM radio problem. Cannot receive some stations.

I have a Pioneer DEH-P6800MP. For XM I installed a TERK XM Direct Tuner and digital adapter box. Activation went fine, but I am not receiving all of the channels. For instance channel 30, 21, 22, 34, etc... I called XM tech support, they sent a refresh signal. That works until I turn my car off and then I don't get all the channels again. I have sent a refresh signal numerous times now and it always fixes the problem until I turn the car off. Another issue is that I can't save favorite channels on XM like I can on FM. I know this is supposed to work. Everytime I start the car, the XM goes to back to channel 1, not the channel I was listening to when I turned the car off. I am stumped and don't know who to call or what to do to fix this issue.

Check your power wire, it should be connected to a 12v constant source. Sounds like you hooked it up to an ignition source. It needs 12v constant so that it retains memory. Then you shouldn't lose activation and be able to save pre-sets to your radio. You'll also go back to the channel you were listening to last before you turned your car off.
